Care Tips
Before lighting your BAG Candle trim your wick to about 1/4".Â
Upon lighting your BAG Candle for the first time, allow the way to melt all the way to the sides of the container. This should take between 2 - 3 hours with our 14 oz candles.
Before relighting your candle please be sure that the wax has cooled completely from the previous burn and then trim the wick to 1/4". (This helps to prevent carbon build up.)
Optimal burn time for our candles is 4 hours! Please don't burn for longer than this. (If it burns over 4 hours the glass can overheat and potentially shatter.)
Please do not burn your candle lower than 1/2 - inch.
See the warning label under your candle for all other disclaimers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will large candles overflow?
We recommend burning candles on safe surfaces at all times. Our large candles have been designed to stay within the container, but we recommend always burning them on a surface that will be safe if some do happen to run over.
How long is the burn time?
Anywhere from 50-70 hours when properly maintained.
Why is the flame so high on the candle?
Before lighting your BAG Candle trim your wick to about 1/4".
Why is there black smoke when I blow it out?
There will be black smoke if you blow it out. If you dip the wick into the wax pool or use a candle snuffer to extinguish the candle then there will be minimal smoke.Â
Where should I not burn candles?
We recommend not burning candles around unsafe surfaces, windows, children, and pets.
